Creating Display Text for Links

Some areas of the PPM support for Markdown formatting, allowing users to create user-friendly display text for URL links. Text fields in the following areas now feature Markdown support:

Workspace Dashboard,
Item List view for Dynamic Applications,
Task List,
Global Tab Custom Views, and
Details Tabs in the Item Browser windows.

To create display text for a link in a text field:

Enter display text in square brackets
Enter the link URL in parentheses next to the display text.

For example, after entering [Changepoint](www.changepoint.com) into a text field, it becomes Changepoint. Markdown formatting for links is supported in all custom text fields, Workspace Description fields, and Update Notes fields.
